We established the educational Institution under the name of ‘Dnyansadhana Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, Nivade in 1992 with a clear vision about the development in education of the vicinity. We are observing the total situation of the area from our childhood. Our Gaganbavda taluka is famous for heavy rainfall, hilly, scattered, and rural area. Educationally, socially, and economically this area is backward. We the Shinde Family became successful in achieving the goal of providing higher education up to Degree and post-Degree level in the city of Kolhapur with the help of good financial position and hard working.

However, we know that it is not possible for all people of the vicinity especially girls students to get higher education. Considering the problem, deeply and seriously we decided to solve it through the establishment of the senior college in the area. We also know that the education is the only solution for the improvement of the personality as well as society. It is the need to spread education in the hilly and rural area like Gaganbavda Taluka. The Institution believes in Service to education is service to nation.

The Institution has purchased land of 2.89acres in the village of Tisangi and constructed a building to provide the educational infrastructure for various courses and essential playground for all games to the students. I am sure the students of the vicinity will take the benefit and try to improve their career and future. I wish all the best.
